The staff was great. I have a boot on my left foot and they were very accommodating.
Great comfort food, with large portions. Fairly reasonably priced for Manhattan.

Lekkere hamburger in een “op z’n Amerikaans” gezellige tent. De bediening is vriendelijk, helaas heel snel met bedienen en afruimen zoals vaak in Amerika. Wij zouden hier terugkomen.
This restaurant is located a few steps from the Stephen Sondheim theatre where Beautiful was playing. My sisters and I came in via the LIRR for a Wednesday show and wanted a place close to the theatre. Actually, you can’t get much closer than the Brooklyn Diner. Food was good, show great, LIRR not so great lol.
Best pot pie ever. Everything so delicious and so plentiful.
This is a regular stop for my friend every time he comes to NYC. The place is typical New York noisy but the food is hot and good, servings not small plate size and the wait staff is very helpful.
