We had breakfast on Sunday and went back on Monday while we were in town for the weekend. Sunday was very busy but they got us in pretty quick. There was no wait on Monday. The little fried cornmeal squares with marinara are addictive. I had pastrami hash on Monday as they were out on Sunday. Delicious and my egg was fried nicely hard as requested while my husband’s was perfectly over easy. Our waitress was a delight and kept the coffee flowing.
A favorite stop each time viditing NYC!! Service is spot on and very attentive, even when the place is fully packed. Portions are large and plentiful. This time it was the French toast with raisins and pecans. Unbelievable!! Just sweet enough, and not overly “eggy” from the batter. Served with Vermont maple syrup and topped with fresh strawberries. Also ordered a side of bacon as well. Thick, crisp, lean, and lots of it. Wonderful way to start a busy day in NYC!!
The chicken pot pie was huge and delicious. My children enjoyed the giant hot dog, but couldn’t finish it.
Amazing salads and delicious hot dog!
