Was fine and had a great time before broadway show
It is so convenient to the theater. The food is good and they are very accomodating to my special needs.
I know this is weird to start but I thought their cole slaw was fabulous. We stopped there pre-theater Tuesday and had diner staples -- burger, cobb salad with salmon, skirt steak and my crab cake sandwich with the cole slaw. Benz our server was solicitous and professional - did all the special requests very well, thank you!
Went there for the first time & was happily surprised. It’s close to the theaters, so it was convenient. We made a reservation & waited only 10 minutes. Staff was very friendly. The food was good, too. Nice atmosphere & not too noisy. Would recommend in a minute.
Food was good, but service could have been up a notch. We got our coffee and bloody Mary's about the same time our meal came. It didn't seem overly busy for a Sunday morning, no waiting line. Although we did reserve table to make sure we had no wait. Maybe they were short staffed.
Went early for a pre-theatre meal. My daughter and I both had burgers, which were very good and cooked to our instructions. The accompanying fries weren’t freshly cooked however, they’d been sitting in a warmer for awhile, which was disappointing. The service was great- efficient and attentive. I’d go back- maybe at a busier time in search of freshly cooked fries.
When we are in the city we look forward to eating here but this visit was disappointing. The waitress was rude. (Yes I know it’s NYC). The Brooklyn egg cream here cost twice as much as Junior’s, but tasted like seltzer with hint of skim milk and chocolate. And the top of their special chicken pot pie lifted right off to show a lack of filling, maybe it was the last one of the day and there was not enough. Not looking to go back anytime soon.
This was a birthday brunch, with my family, prior to the Wicked show. Therefore, my expectations were high in terms of the diner. Alas, neither the smoked salmon omelette, nor the chicken burger, nor the bacon burger, were cooked to be satisfying. The omelette was watery, the chicken in the burger was not seasoned to to be complemented by the bun, and the bacon burger was dry. To my mind, no matter where the location is, food should be cooked, presented and served to correspond with the restaurant’s cuisine offering. So, I w... read more
Great food but waited awhile for our meals.
