I was a tenant at The Alden in Alabama I moved out July 2019. There was constant change in management. Nothing ever got fixed and we lived in a apartment for 2 days without heat & lights. Mailbox locks changed 3 times while we were staying there without a notification. Also, the horrible pest that take over your unit no matter how hard you clean. For the past 3 days I've tried to get issues at Tobin Lofts in San Antonio resolved through your corporate office in Austin. I have left messages for the Regional Director, Jasmine Rivera and Anna Flores, VP of Operations, among others. I have emailed and tried to follow a reasonable tact to let the proper procedures work out for conflicts to be resolved. It is falling on negligent, deaf Campus Advantage ears. I pay an outrageous amount to live at Hannah Lofts (around $730 a month) for a 2.7 star property. I think I should paying nothing after all of the issues I have faced in two years. They have broken their lease multiple times and forced us to live in a house with black mold for over a year. Every dumpster is overflowing with trash, smells awful, bees are all over it, and the trash is blowing all over the property. RYAN SHAUL HAS NOT REPLIED MY COMPLAINT My experience at Burnham 310 has been very frustrating. I was bullied by maintenance staff once ( His name is Brian) and the manager said that He is too passionate and that is why they acted in an explosive manner. The maintenance worker didn't feel like coming to the apartment on two occasions to fix an emergency because it was a weekend, and he doesn't like to come to work at weekends, according to his own words. I currently live at The Alden and it’ll be a year August 15th. Since I’ve been here, there has been shootings. It is supposed to be a gated community but the gates are left wide open throughout the day. Also, they take forever to fix maintenance requests. Not only that, they have left our mailboxes wide open for days because they were “fixing the locks”. They refused to do any maintenance on their AC units. The AC unit has been broken for 4 months. I called and called; it took about a month before they gave us a window unit. WITH NO NOTICE, they took back the window unit without fixing the AC unit.
Parents, beware!! Do not let your college students stay at one of these properties. My daughter is currently living at The Lodges at 777 and the management and oversight of the property management and the owner is reprehensible. We have had problems with the management addressing the fact that tenants are continuously being allowed to smoke weed in the apartments and on the premises.
