Very nice place and the first that offered 24/7 nursing on site!
We called ahead to let [name removed] know we were running late and she was very gracious. She greeted us with fruit and cookies when we arrived. It was hard for my sister to conceptualize the facility since we only had room layouts and photos. My nephew and I were a little disappointed that all levels of dementia would be together I know that many families are reluctant to place someone earlier in their dementia and I think this could make the transition more difficult for my sister. The entire process from touring to discharging home was a positive experience. The employees are very warm, compassionate and informative. I was greeted by all of the Department Heads upon my admission and they reviewed all my medications, therapy that would be provided and plans for me to return home healthy and safe. The atmosphere was wonderful and I enjoyed the food immensely. I would recommend this rehab center to anyone in need.
CareOne at Wayne is a lovely community with lots to offer their residents including a sub acute nursing floor if needed. The resident family contact was amazing and very knowledgeable. She went way out of her way to help me with my search and help find a place for my Mom.
[Removed], the executive director, met with us at the near site office. Symphony is still under construction and set to be open at the end of June. We are excited to see things come together and will be putting a deposit down in the coming week. We will be visiting other assisted living and memory care locations operated by the same Milestone Retirement to see what the facilities are and how the facilities have been maintained at those locations.
Everything seems to be going well at this facility. It is a nice place and it’s in a convenient location for us. The staff team that cares for my love one is very knowledgeable and communicative. They do well to call me to give me any updates regarding my love one. The facility is good, the place is clean, and the food is also good. This place is very nice and I’m very comfortable with my Mom being here. I feel like she’s getting really good care and it seems like she is being kept busy with things that are appropriate to the level of Dementia that she has. She’s definitely active and well cared for and there’s always someone there ready to take care of her. Clean, safe facility. [Removed] were very helpful and professional. The layout and structure is too institutional for us. Too many of the bathrooms and kitchens hadn't been upgraded and looked very outdated. Our loved one could assess at the independent level, and doesn't use an assistive walking device, and the vast majority of residents I saw, smiled at, and spoke with, needed walkers, had aides, were at the assisted living level, not the independent level. This place used to be a nursing home converting to an assisted living a few years ago. Although the entire place was redone with beautiful modern floors, wallpaper, etc. it still looks like a nursing home/hospital setting. It is not warm and inviting, more sterile like. Residents are in one small room which was not conducive to feeling like it was an apartment for long term living.
