I would recommend you be ready to make a financial commitment to the community. The staff are pretty good to work with, if I have questions or concerns about my loved one. They didn't understand how a specific phone would work due to the way it had to be set up for my loved one to communicate with the family. This was resolved after a bit of time. Some of the activities available include floral arrangements, painting, chef experiences, crocheting group, and more for the residents to choose from.
The tour was nice and they did a good job showing us what all they offered. For us, we were looking for a facility that focused only on Alzheimer's/dementia and this facility did not provide that.
My mother has been at Care One for 5 months in Assisted Living and is very much thriving there. Wonderful staff that really seems to care and is always responsive. Varied daily activities and the kitchen staff is very caring as well. Really everybody brings their best here and it's a vibrant atmosphere. I as concerned as my mother has always been a private person but she has been welcomed and matriculated very naturally at Care One.
This is a safe place to be for your loved one. They went above and beyond to sign us up and I'm glad they did. The people here care about the residents. My loved one loves the activities, food, and feel of the community. The staff are excellent to work with if I have questions or concerns about my loved one. They have been quick to respond to my voicemails. The community is good at sending emails to the family about what is going on and it is wonderful.
They are building a new building here. During our tour the entry is at the nursing home area to get to the assisted living area. The Director of Admissions was new and I didn't have enough trust with them.
I would recommend Harmony Village to those who are looking. the staff are fantastic, extremely knowledgeable, and friendly. they are always willing to bend over backward to help you. I have absolutely nothing bad to say about this community.
This community was recommended to us after looking at other communities and we are glad it did. All of the residents are so happy and friendly, and always greet us when we come to visit. The staff all know the residents by name, and there are great activities. Our loved one is getting used to the meals and starting to like them.
I have stayed at CareOne at Wayne for rehab multiple times! The staff is always very friendly and helpful.
I think they do the best they can under the circumstances for example with short staffing and the pandemic. Some of the activities available include folding clothes, arts and crafts, and more for the residents to participate in if they choose to.
