There was a feeling of comfort and warmth upon entering CareOne Evesham. This feeling was made more pronounced upon meeting [name removed] (director of sales) and other members of the CareOne team. They should genuine concern for my situation. They offered good advice and help.
The staff was so friendly and helpful. The interior is spectacular, very inviting and welcoming. The common space reminded me of a cozy ski lodge. The studio apartment was very a decent size with plenty of living space.
I've never been to an asst living facility so this experience was new. CareOne is very nice! My FIL loves the food. The activities and directors are wonderful and caring. The front desk ([name removed]), and [name removed], and [name removed](nurse) and others (I forgot the name of the director...she's wonderful, too!!) The apt size is a bit smaller but manageable. The care is great!!!
The facility is clean and well maintained. It has a grand hotel feel/vibe that is nice, but may not appeal to some looking for a modern look. I find the staff to be caring but communication and medical care coordination to be lacking.
I'm happy with them overall. The two concierge are extremely friendly and willing to help in anyway possible. The welcome we received was not what we anticipated as it felt flat. They don't have transportation to take the residents out of the community on outings, and I'd like to see this improved. Make sure you are involved with your loved one care. The community is neat and clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The food was good and I would recommend this community to others based on my experience.
My mother was a resident at Careone ALF for 6 years. She had dementia and passed away [date removed]. From day one, my mother was treated with nothing but respect and dignity. The whole staff was wonderful. When you walked through door , you felt like family. Careone has always gone out of there way to make you feel like you part of their community. I highly recommend this facility . The deserve a 1000 stars for all the work they have to do with our family members.
I initially wanted my mother to go to a different nursing home; however this location was more convenient. The staff is great and I love the nurses there, they know what they are doing. There were only a couple of times when I had to grab a nurse to change my mother. My mother is always in her bed so every two hours they would change her and re position her. The rooms and common areas were very clean & well kept. No complaints there. Activities were plentiful and appropriate for the residents. The food wasn't really that good. While they did offer choices for each meal, it wasn't really the "cuisine" we were promised . Also, we told we could sit and have a meal with mom in the dining room any time.
