I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident Rooms are freezing cold. Dish tv spotty. Sent my mother home with a respiratory infection and said she’s fine. She ended up in the hospital. Staff doesn’t care. She laid in bed in dirty clothes and sheets. Physical therapist walked her once a day about 50 feet and left her in bed fir the rest of the time. When she needed help to go to the bathroom nobody came for a long time. They said you have a pull up on use it. How degrading is that! Their main concern that they consta... read more

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident If I could have rated this facility below a 1 I would have. My loved one had two falls while in the facility, one resulting in an ER visit, the other with a possible fx, no one called to report the first fall, terrible communication, staff unresponsive to patient needs, administrator took me to someone else office when I went to complain to him about the care, no follow up. Caution if you are putting your loved ones in this facility. The only good thing was the physical th... read more

I am/was a resident of this facility The in house doctors misdiagnosed cellulitis and lymphedema and failed to treat either! Many times the food did not meet my diet restrictions and had to be sent back. One of the rehabilitation therapists was very good the other had no concept of what she should be doing. She seemed more interested in sitting her butt in a chair

Other Here I am again, Linda Evans, back again at Redstone Rehab for my 2nd full knee replacement. Not all the nurses that work at this facility are actually employed by Redstone. A fact I did not know previously. The nurse, Pat, who calls herself Trish, whose responsibility it was to see to my care last night, September 17, 2021 from 4 to 11 PM, is such a worker. I'll leave you with this. Would you want the nurse responsible for administering your meds or your mother's meds, asking the patient when the patient would like to... read more

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident The Nurses and staff are very Rude and Uncaring about the patients. my mother was in a room where her roommate fell. My mother pushed the call button for 20 minutes trying to get help for the woman. she finally had to walk into the hall to look for somebody to help. they are very disrespectful to the patients and family members. She was in there for 4 days and the only therapy she received was a walker wheelchair and walking up 4 steps. Don't expect to get an answer about ... read more

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident The rooms are beautiful. The CNAs try their best and most of them are kind and compassionate. The "professionals", on the other hand, leave something to be desired. They do not listen to the patients or the family members. If family is not there, the patients really don't have a lot of stimulation or interaction. My father spent almost 20 hours a day in bed for over three weeks. He went in ambulatory and came out in a wheel chair. He also developed a UTI on January 6 and i... read more

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident Although there was one nurse worthy of praise the others that were in charge of taking care of my relative were pathetic to say the least. They were more interested in standing by the desk than caring for patients even when called. The following link is for them. Whether woman or man every patient deserve to be treated with respect. They are not there to be drugged because you don't have the time or compassion to deal with them. https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=... read more

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident Do not bring your loved ones here. Staff is rude, argumentative and treat the patients like they are a bother. Supervisor and Director of Nursing do not return calls. Medication is not given correctly or in a timely manner. Many staff members lack common sense- patient cannot use either hand and food and drink are left unopened, staff doesn't help with feeding. Patients are left for 20-30 minutes when needing help with toileting. Call buttons are not answered with a sense ... read more

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident I was a health care proxy for my relative at this facility. I would never recommend Redstone based on the care. Five hours after admission, my relative had not yet received required medication. Another person's personal belongings, including medication and house keys inside a bag, were on her chair with her belongings. The white cotton bed blanket was laundered but contained measureable soaked in blood stains. The nurse I spoke with lied to me that my relative's necessary ... read more
