Good We could hear the people upstairs. The baby was a wake in the middle of the night. Close to the center of town.

affordable stay in central Carmel Included continental breakfast was just OK, and for room service only (because of the pandemic, I guess). Maid service was oddly limited (possibly for the same reason?); they would enter the room, empty the garbage bins, and replace towels, but the bed was not made. No big deal, but weird. Nice motel, very central location in Carmel, close to the shops and not far from the beach.

Hotel is acceptable if you are looking for a place to sleep. Don't expect too much. Furniture in the room is old. Hairdryer and AC wall outlets not working. Breakfast basket provided for 2 persons when the booking is for 3 persons. The swimming pool is not opened and looks like it has been abandoned for some time. Location is great.
