Great location within easy walking distance to Ocean Avenue! It seems like the furnishings and decor has not been updated in 30-40 years. Maybe the oak, four poster bed was supposed to be Carmel-cozy, but the quilt, the rug and the divan was straight out of the 80s. I wished that there was a safe in the closet. The location and customer service was great! The free breakfast was nice, too! The bed was comfortable. We had maid service every day, which was a plus and unexpected.

Bad Breakfast There was no elevator. I was expecting to have my breakfast between 7-10 am. We got up at 7 and there was nobody at the reception. They even dont have a breakfast room. They bring it to you 08:30am. If you have to leave before you have no breakfast. It was very weak breakfast just one apple,one little box milk for husband and i they want you to share. Cereal, orange juise and little pastary. Rooms were clean.

Very Good
Good option Unfortunately the alarm clock in our room was left set to go off at 5:21am. After that I could not get back to sleep due to the very thin walls and I could hear people talking below us. Great location. Decor is cute in a kitsch sort of way (all the florals!) but very clean and comfy.
