We help Charleston residents and property owners address their heating and air conditioning challenges. Established in 1984 by James W. Carney and his son Curtis Carney, we started out serving the local communities around James Island and Folly Beach.

Never used them but from what I’ve seen on this page it looks like they’re a good company that cares about their employees. I’ve heard good things about them from an old boss as well. If the time ever comes then they will be the first ones I call!
Great service! Always calls to let me know they will arrive in 30 min. Often is able to arrive early. Walks you through any issues and corrects them. Cleans up after any work so house looks like when they arrived. I use them on the maintenance plan for our HVAC/Heat for several properties.

The staff at carney and son are top notch. This is my second experience using them and they are so professional and competent. I had bought the maintenance plan for our system and it has definitely been a lifesaver. Bradlee and Maddie definitely make our experience great every time. Kudos to your staff.
Wanted to give a shout out to the absolutely fantastic company here locally called Carney & Son 72 degrees. My Heil unit finally kicked the bucket after 18 years. My thermostat kept showing the system was going to emergency heat which obviously is a bad thing so Bradlee from Carney & Son came to check things out. Very professional and friendly. They do not cut corners and explain everything. I am adding to this review, which I posted a couple years ago. Today, Alec came out to do the seasonal servicing. He was knowledgeable and professional. I continue to give Carney & Son 72 Degrees 5 stars.
Everyone is very friendly and professional! They responded quickly to our need for an appointment and installed a new unit within days. My husband and I were very happy with the quality of the service we received. I highly recommend this company for your AC needs! Thank you Carney and Son.
