Cavender's (Boot City) - Got my 1st two pairs of cowboy boots...where of all places: in Texas, particularly at Cavender's, at this and another location. They seem to be the only game in town around here, as far as brick n' mortar types. The Good - It was my first time in a Cavender's Boot City and I was extremely impressed with the level of customer service. Everyone is very friendly and willing to help answer any questions you may have regarding their items. It's a large well laid out store with plenty of items to peruse for your cowboy enjoyment. The didn't have my size in very many jeans, but I could have just come in at a bad time of the month. They have tons of brands and an amazing array of boots to choose from. This has to be the stupidest business I have ever dealt with in my life! Started Friday to order something for store pickup seems easy right nope if someone could fuck something so easy up they did! Idiots took the shit off the shelf and put it into a mailing package and shipped it straight back to themselves!!!!I call asking why I haven't gotten an email that my stuff is ready only for it to get worse they cancelled one of the only 4 items to begin with.... I have shopped at Cavenders for many years. I just recently found out that they only pay their new hires minimum wage and mabye 1$ more after time. They get mostly high school kids as they are the only labor force that could afford to show up when it does not even cover gas. I was told that the previous generation of owners paid a living wage but this generation has decided to put profits over people. I went with my parents to help my dad look for work boots and me a pair of jeans. The workers were very rude, we tried multiple times to make conversation and they just gave us very rude and judge mental looks. esperanza checked us out and my mom made a joke and she gave her a annoyed look,the whole checkout process felt awkward and like she wanted us out of there as soon as possible. Bad Customer Service.... Asked for help and they said they cont do that because they were to busy. But had 4 people standing around the register and a couple more in the back. I would not recommend.

Customer service is terrible. If it's not in stock, They won't order for you. Apparently their inventory system hasn't been updated on over a year. But then I called another store looking for the boots I needed - because this store wouldn't call for me, and the other store informed me that they can in fact order the boots for me. If I didn't have a gift card I wouldn't be shopping here.
