I'd like to preface this by saying I used to work at Cavender's. Absolutely love this place. Seth was great, very helpful with the hats. A couple of the ladies asked multiple times if we needed help, which is always appreciated. The reason for my rating is the guy that checked us out. Zero customer service skills. He didn't have a nametag but his employee number is 59485. I know they're supposed to ask who helped us out so the deserving employee can get the commission-this was not asked. Wow..... Thats all i gotta say. Worked here for a couple months. Management was absolutely awful(Chris) the manager picked favorites, pretty much all the girls were his favorites. He would never get onto the people that would always call out before their shift, only the people that worked there the most. District manager(Bryan) or whatever his name is, was always rude to everyone. Was never man enough to come say something about me to my face.

Visited the Cavender's in Spring on Sunday. I was there to buy my first cowboy hat. I elected to go with straw. I wasn't sure how often I'd wear it. There was a decent selection of straw hats but few in my size. After 10 minutes of looking at hats, Ly came over and was very helpful. Most of the hats in my size were too tight. My husband needed new jeans and we went to the Cavenders in Spring on the Grand Parkway. No one offered to help us although there were several employees hanging out by the cash register. I had to lay down on the floor to reach his size because they were at the bottom of the stack. We kept looking around for assistance but none was to be had. This is my third try at this establishment and i wont be back. If your going to have children working at your store at least train them properly. We went to get my Daughter her first cowboy hat. She picked out a gorgeous beaver hat that was about $140.00. I asked for a hatbox my got up to the counter. One of the ladies that was not checking this out told me that they did not have hat boxes. I stink said how absolutely bizarre I don't think I've ever bought a hat and not had a hat box. The child that was checking us out... read more
