The entire staff was terrible they were cussing at the front counter and hanging out with each other when I walked in they all started talking about the other customers "oh he's not a cowboy" they were extremely rude. When when I asked for help they said they were busy and just kept talking to each other I was only one of two people in the store I went two days in a row to hopefully get help and it was the exact same both days. I'll be ordering online or driving extra to the one in Conroe from now on
There were many employees around women's boots (no employees actually in there) but all were chit chatting between themselves and avoiding eye contact with customers and walking away. We had to grab a random guy who did his best to help. However it didn't seem like his dept. The first heavy set brunette he asked was beyond rude to him and us both. The only reason this is getting 2 stars instead of 1 star is because of Belinda at the hat counter. She was very helpful. The young girls at the front checkout counter are rude and unhelpful . One girl just stared at me until I asked if she could help me. I was literally at the counter right in front of her. I overheard two workers cussing about children who were playing in front of the counter while waiting for their parents. It seems like these workers go out of their way to NOT help you. Bought a pair of shoes for a gift. They did not fit so she went to exchange them and they didnt have her size. The asst manager who helped her #1 was rude #2 would only put the refund back on the card that purchased it. I did give her the receipt & gift receipt. So she walked out with 0 for her gift so now I have to go buy another pair to give her when they could have just given her a gift card to go get her own. The manager Chris is so rude. He yells at his employees saying that his going to fire them in front of costumers. Then exchange the papers to his name on the sales from other workers. Try forcing me to buy stuff I don't want and tells me I'm an idiot for not buying it.
I just wanted to look around. I really did want to buy boots but the guy that greeted us just kept stalking me. I tiled him two times that I would find him if I had questions. But he kept following me. So uncomfortable that we decided to leave. They must work on commission is all I can figure but it's so annoying when you are constantly being watched. It like I can fit a pair of boots in my wallet.
Very disappointed with the service..... theres so many younger men and women working there that seem like all they want to do is stand around and talk to each other. We were in the store 10 mins walking around looking for someone to help us find a certain brand of jeans and finally i was able to get a lady to help us who was older and much more willing to help us. I have been to Cavenders my whole life. My boyfriend recently moved around Kingwood area and I was happy to see a Cavenders close by. Well I did not like any of the employees. Our first visit I went to find some dresses and find a pit of jeans for my boyfriend. RED FLAG: the employees don't ask if you need help when you make it as obvious as you can that you need it.
