I've been in this store a good four or five times since I've been in Humble. The employees seem "authentic" - plenty of y'alls flying about. They really take pride in their shop and are eager to help if needed. But they will also leave you alone if you just want to look. Just purchased some nice work boots. They have a decent, but not massive, selection. My friend bought a $200 pair of boots, and is quite pleased. Here in front of the mall too, lots of shops to mess around in while the little lady is shopping.....
Coyboy/cowgirl heaven! I'm glad I got my kids 'go texan' gear here. But I was not happy forking out $85.00 for a 7 year old's boots, but hopefully she'll be wearing them for a while. I think I'll go during rodeo off season next time to stock up on boots.
If you are in the market for some hip western wear, shirts with bling, all the latest blingy jeans and of course the best selection of Western boots around, this is the place to shop. Cavenders is always crowded and not always the best selection of womens trendy clothing for the woman that is not a size XS. but if you are looking for a cool outfit and new pair of Old Gringos to go boot scootin in , then this is your place. Im not even into the whole country scene or country music , but I really like this store!
Cavender's is pretty much the only game in town when it comes to western wear-- they sell everything a self-respecting cow-person might need to work on their animals, and have a pretty nice selection of duds for rockabilly types as well. Minus one star for having less boots in size 11.5 than other sizes-- wtf? I always thought my shoe size was pretty common... sales staff ranged from a gigantic helpful swede to a bunch of completely useless girls @ the non-functioning register.
Ok guys, listen up, you'll thank me later. The next time you need a pair of jeans, go to a Cavenders. When you walk in the front door, a salesperson will ask if they can help. DO NOT get annoyed and want them to go away. No, this person is your friend. Simply tell them what you want, and they will magically take you STRAIGHT to it. They may make a recommendation. No help what so ever. If the manager walks around with attitutde not wanting to he there what you expect from the rest of the employes. Cavenders typically have really good service expect this specific one.
We got no help from anyone in the store. They all stood around in a group talking most of the time. Never asked if we needed help.
One gentleman was very friendly and greeted us... the cashier and another employee looked miserable to be there. Not friendly at all. Worse customer service
Employees joke around too much and dont help out customers smh.... but i'll come again
