Terrible, lying service. Called them and asked if they had something in stock. They said yes. Drive in and now say they have none. Trash. What was the point of the lie?
First, boxes and inventory clutter the aisles which I could get over despite the sales associates standing around when they could at least be organizing so customer can get thru. Second and more important, I watched a woman and her small son try to return some clothes yesterday. They refused the shirt saying it had clearly been worn and smelled like detergent. Not baby friendly, no changing tables. When your baby has a blow out you would think that the bathroom would have something to change a child on. Especially since they sell baby clothes. But they don't. Also- there are so many boxes and clothes racks so stuffed and close to each other you can barely walk through the store. I've been to this location multiple times and gotten some nice things, but this experience was terrible.
This Cavender's is unfortunately not well kept and has a very small women's boot and clothing section. When I was there last (beginning of June), there were boxes all in the aisles and the women's section wasn't organized at all. And why only have the best brand name boots for men? Disappointed
Cavenders did nothing to help me out when the problem was on their side. I was traveling from out of town and went to several boot shops around Austin. I purchased a pair from Cavenders carefully checking the return policy when doing so bc I wasn't 100% on them. When I went to return them 2 days later their credit system was down and they wouldn't do anything to help me out, offering me an exchange only. I fly out tomorrow morning. There is no coming back in tomorrow when they fix their problem for me. How frustrating... read more
Just ruined my $300 Stetson way to go!!! Atleast hire someone that know what they're doing!!!
Service was almost non existent. We picked out our own boots and found a sales person, they walked the boots up to the counter and then vanished without a word. We were left standing around for 30 minutes before we asked someone else what was up. Several sales staff walking by just looking at us without ever making any attempt to ask if we needed help. Great selection. Zero service! Mostly kid staff that appears to be undermanaged.
Very hard to find anyone to help you. Asked an associate about kids sizes to get a measurement and she replied it wasn't her department.
