The office staff were organized and efficient. I was able to obtain an appointment for an initial consult about my wisdom teeth within a week. Due to another’s cancellation, I was able to schedule the extraction of my four wisdom teeth a week later. The doctor is very kind and knowledgeable. After the procedure, I used Motrin, Tylenol and Ice for the pain. I took the prescribed antibiotic and followed the detailed recovery instructions. Everything was done comfortably and professionally.
Although I wasn't her patient Dr. Chi and the staff responded decidedly and competently to my dental emergency I had experienced within 24 hours, resolving the case with a significant pain and injury.
Friendly helpful caring staff, I felt very comfortable.
The officers was nicely decorated, clean and some of the front desk staff is friendly and thoughtful. I would have appreciated Dr. Chi telling me about post-op care, that would have been beneficial and professional.
Business response:
This is a general response to all Center City OMS potential future patients (as medical professionals are instructed to not respond to reviews due to HIPAA regulations. Yes, indeed, the regulation is absurd). All surgical patients in this office receive detailed verbal and written post-op instructions. In addition, all post-op patients are provided with the doctor's cell phone number.
Dr. Chi is very professional and thorough. Her office is extremely clean. I was pleased about that. My experience was a good with the exception of the hidden fees. I wasn’t told in advance of a required X-ray ($357 ) and was charged an additional $100 on the day of. I didn’t like that my receipt said I paid $77 instead of $100. I asked for a corrected receipt and was ignored. This office is a good practice but all fees should be discussed with the patient up front.
Staff was wonderful working with us to reschedule appointment, between English speaking dad and Chinese speaking son. And you provided all the information we needed to speed Chaowei's healing.
The dental over all services is thoroughly explained in expenses to read and know how much for everything. The welcoming as you come in is good and they know you to say hi and are courteous to when you will be seen and be seated comfortably while you wait. The doctor is very professional and explains everything to make you feel less afraid and understand everything what will happen and how it will be done to be at ease.
