I am so INCREDIBLY grateful for Dr. Couper and her team. Two days after Christmas I was on a family vacation at Grover Beach and my dog Cooper ate something at the beach and ended up choking, foaming at the mouth and nose and could not breathe. We rushed him to CCPet Hospital and they took him in right away and helped him breathe again, which saved his life ultimately. Dr. Couper was so kind and comforting as I was a total wreck; actually the entire staff at CCPH treated me just the same which got me through that day. I am h... read more

Our 12 year old poodle was suddenly stricken with severe, prolonged vomiting last Friday evening. We were fortunate to have such good care available for him. Dr. Couper explained all the treatment and diagnostics that would be done and the reasons. Our boy stayed overnight to get re-hydrated, examined, and put on a course of medicines to help him recover. Dr. Ochi continued his care the next day until he could come home. Very glad to have such thorough care from all the doctors and vet techs .

My Precious 11 year old Standard Poodle, Ruby, had been sick for about 1 week ~ not eating or even wanting to walk. Upon calling Central Coast Pet Hospital & Emergency they told me to bring her in right away; they did an MRI, which showed a tumor the size of your fist on her Spleen, she had been bleeding internally 🙄 I decided that Sweet Ruby needed to be put down 😥 Everyone in the office was wonderful to Ruby and me; while my roommate stayed in the room with Ruby, I couldn't stop crying and waited in the outer office ... read more

our girl boston went into labor for around 8 hours and delivered 7 healthy pups. this was our first litter we delivered. we thought there was one more puppy in her. called the clinic at 3:44 am and talked to a wonderful technician who was able to talk us through what was happening and we rushed over to the hospital. turns out she had a puppy stuck in her womb who was sideways and needed an emergency c section. the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. in a time of crisis im so glad we went to them to take care of our gi... read more

I had to have my 10 yr old Mini Pinscher euthanized and drove an extra hour past the pet ER that had given me false hope for her recovery just to pad the bill. Central Coast Pet Hospital & ER immediately knew that the only recourse was to mercifully put my girl down. I was given priority over other clients waiting for their pet’s treatment. The staff understood my grief and allowed me to witness the quiet, gentle euthanasia. Thank You, CCPH&ER🙏❤️

We are so fortunate to have such a wonderful Pet emergency hospital so close by to where we live! Our little boston terrier Lucy had ingested a bad bully stick causing Pancreatitis. The entire team here was not only professional but truly caring during what was an emotional time for me. Lucy received the very best care which ultimately saved her life! I am beyond grateful for everyone there! Thank you!
