Get directionsI was in California, from Ohio, on a hike when my dog started coughing and gagging and choking, and not drinking water. My daughter said we needed to get him to the vet ASAP as he probably ingested a foxtail(s). Central Coast Pet Emergency Clinic was helpful, kind, knowledgeable, and very communicative. They explained what they needed to do for the exam and possible treatment and took Yogi back right away. They called when he was ready and again, explained what they did to treat my dog. He is ok because the clinic w... read more
CCPEC is amazing! They had other emergencies but realized my Bleu, a German Shepherd, needed immediate care. He was showing early signs of GDV - they caught it and did surgery ASAP resulting in no damage to Bleuâs stomach lining or any other tissue. They also performed a preventative gastropexy so to greatly lesson any chances of his stomach twisting in the future. Dr. Ethan, the techs, and staff all were wonderful. I live closer now, but I used to live about an hour away - I drove here when my Willow was sick because I knew... read more
The staff were very helpful and kind when we brought our dog in for an upset tummy. Dr Ethan was very thorough in explaining the recommendations of treatment plans from basic to higher levels. No pressure to either choice.Â
The staff is amazing. Very friendly and professional. They took very good care of my beagle. I highly recommend !! Thank you for being there. He got in to a bag of oatmeal raisin cookies and chocolate chip cookies. Took him in on a Friday at about 8:00 am. They immediately assessed the situation and were able to help right away. I plan on changing his regular care to Central Coast Pet Clinic as well.Â
Took my 5 year old Chug to Central Coast emergency after 5 calls to local vets who couldn't get her in for a week. She had an abscess that formed from the inside out very close to eye socket caused by bacteria from loose teeth. During COVID and is 1st come/1st served, had to wait a couple hours outside in car, but with all that Dr. Lizzie Adam's was fabulous. I felt like a bad doggy mom when she told me how serious loose teeth can be causing bacteria to form underneath causing infection, bad breath, etc. I was very grateful ... read more
Gave my dog Simparica flea med and he seems to have reacted badly. Scared me as it got worse - he is a boingy mini-pinscher and has laid on the couch out of it for nearly 12 hours. I called Central Coast and Abby asked several questions, then called her vet. I've an appointment with my vet in the morning, but am so thankful that Abby and Centr.al Coast vets were there tonight to ease my mind. Not sure that I'll give him Simparica again though - scary.Â
They took care of my Boston terrier at 1:30am with seizures. We are so grateful that such excellent care, and customer service exist so close. Under such circumstances it is a blessing for our family to have you in our community. You have now taken care of 2 of our dogs and we cannot tell you the anxiety you have saved us.Â
I just wanted to thank you all for the card we just received, after having to put my mom's dog to sleep. Even not having the finances needed to save him, you still showed compassion and care towards my mom and I. I appreciate your kindness and would recommend your vet hospital as the 24 hr place to go. It is worth the trip to the 5 cities.Â
My dog suffered a traumatic dog attack with 3 areas that needed stitches or staples. They took very good care of her and kept us informed.Â
