CET installed two new pendant lights over my kitchen island Alan telephoned about 20 minutes prior to his arrival. When he arrived, we consulted about the placement of the pendants over the island. Once we decided on that, he got straight to work. It took him three hours to do the install, and when he was done everything looked perfect. The price for labor and materials was $355. This isn't the first time I've used CET and it won't be the last. They are professional, knowledgeable, and their pricing is very fair.

Installed 7 smoke detectors, 1 regular that I provided and 6 with 10 year batteries that they provided, plus 1 smoke/CO2 detector near gas fireplace. Rob was on time, efficient, and very helpful in explaining how the hard-wiring and connection between the detectors works. Thanks for the great review ! The new Smoke and Combination Smoke & Carbon Monoxide Detectors are the latest technology and eliminate the need to replace batteries for 10 years ! Given that a detectors life expectancy is 10 years, these units are the way to go. Every 10 years they get replaced and no maintenance is required.
Replaced foyer light fixture with a new chandelier It took me years, but I've finally found THE BEST electricial company EVER! The phone people are helpful and reliable and intelligent. The electricians are very highly skilled...top notch! We've used them for all kinds of things and they get the jobs done quickly and intelligently. Replaced 2 GFI plugs. One in the basement and 1 in the kitchen My appointment time was between 8-10 AM. (II might have the date wrong). Dale from Certified Electric, called about 8:20 and said he'll be be over at 8:40. Right on time, we had a cup of coffee together and discussed what needed to be done. Installed some three prong outlets, moved an outlet In installing the three prong, he was very careful to avoid paint damage and to point out if he was concerned about any issues. The outlet I had moved was for my router, to neaten it up. He went to some lengths to avoid any wall or paint damage not covered by the new plate. He asked for the vacuum to clean up afterwards, and he wore shoe covers the whole time! Awesome service. Don't call anyone else.

Take down a ceiling light fixture. Also did a free "10 point safety check" Great experience. I am planning to have them back to do additional electrical work.

I had two Angie's List deals - one for the installation a new ceiling fan in the master bedroom and the second for replacing an existing ceiling fan. Alan arrived on time, set to work, installed the ceiling fan, and cleaned up all the packaging materials. WONDERFUL! Great job!
