Found the problem in the wiring and got the computer and phones working in two of the rooms that were not working before.
Inspected and re-wired some outlet wiring in my basement, ensuring that the wiring was up to code. Most of the wiring was up to code, some was not. He promptly replaced the wiring that was too small, and finished the re-wiring of 4 outlets in about an hour. Prompt, quick, professional, explained everything well as he proceeded about the work.
Replace and install new outlets, switches, and fixtures. Our technician, Alan, was simply superb. Although he showed up a little late, he did call to let me know, which I appreciated. He performed the work requested quickly and professionally, and even helped our HVAC technician, who was there the same day, fish a wire through the wall to relocate our thermostat. Overall, Alan was polite, friendly, competent, and extremely professional, and the quality of his work was fantastic. I would hire CET, and Alan, any time.
The outlet for my Dryer somehow burned up and the whole outlet needed to be replaced. The company sent a gentleman out who was very knowledgeable and did a great job showing me exactly what he was replacing. Will do business with them again.
Over two appointments, we used CET to install a new chandelier in our 2 story foyer, move a ceiling electrical box in our kitchen and install a new pendant light over the table, install plugs in 2 outdoor electrical boxes, troubleshoot garage and post lights (not working) and repair, and install 2 new smoke detectors. Replaced lamp socket on fixture over glass mirrored medicine cabinet. Appointment scheduling was a breeze. Very responsive customer service. The electrician called before arriving. Electrician was right on time. Electrician was clean (wore shoe covers) andneat. He explained all he wasdoing. Finished job quickly. Rates were very competitive.
Replace two smoke alarms. One of the best electrical company I had in my home in years.
Installed bedroom ceiling fan. A project that would have taken me the better half of a day was completed in just a few hours. The technician was prompt, professional, courteous, and efficient. There was no existing electrical wiring to the ceiling in the bedroom, but the technician was able to splice from an existing hall light and run it through the attic to where the fan was mounted over the bedroom. I'm very pleased with the work and overall experience with Certified Electrical Technologies.
