We were in town for business over my husband's birthday. I chose this restaurant because he loves Brazilian steak houses. I told them in the reservation it was a special birthday and they made really made it special. The restaurant has dim lighting and white tablecloths. It is a place you can dress up for and have a great date night. They have a larger staff than a regular restaurant and they are there to make your dining experience spectacular. There was a large salad bar with several fresh salads and meats and cheeses. The... read more
As always, the food is outrageous. The staff is so helpful and very cordial. The variety of food is great and the salad bar is like no other. The desserts to die for! Too bad it is not affordable to have more frequent visits but worth every single dollar.
Great selection of meats but staff does not listen to what you say or ask. Meat was a little bland and some tough.
Love the food, and great atmosphere. The service is among the best I've experienced anywhere!
It was an extremely busy day and service could have been a bit better. Nothing to complain about, but it just wasn't what was typical (I think it's because it was Mother's Day).
Mother's Day, 2017 was our first time at Chama Gaucha. We'd heard great things and they were all true. The food is exceptional - vast salad bar and the meat was cooked to perfection. Two of the meats were a tiny bit on the salty side, but the tenderness made up for it. It's a bit noisy, so if you are looking for an intimate experience, this isn't it. All told, it was fun, happy and energetic. Definitely worth a return trip.
Took the Ex-Wife and our kids for Mother's Day... bad idea. We had to wave in the gauchos to get meat; and no one got enough to eat. In the end we just made a couple trips to the salad bar. It wasn't anyone's fault; they were super busy what with the holiday. But still... a little disappointed. For the record I eat at Chama's at least twice a month and the service is usually flawless. I will go again because hey.. it's Chama's and thus, better than Fogo.
It was just perfect good food good service
I've tried Fogo de Chão, Texas de Brazil, and The Rodizio Grill prior to trying Chama Gaúcha. Chama Gaúcha definitely is as good as Fogo and Texas de Brazil and far superior to Rodizio Grill. The service was impeccable as expected. The portions given by the servers was generous to the point of being overwhelming. I ordered a caipirinha with my dinner and found it to be one of the better ones I've had. It was an enjoyable meal and I would definitely return again.
