Muy bueno todo
We celebrated our anniversary here while my husband was in SA on business. The ambiance is very nice, but very noisy...not the romantic intimacy we were hoping for. The staff was exceptionally attentive and professional. The food was good, not great. Brazilian steaks we have ordered elsewhere have had much better flavor. Even so, we really don't have any complaint with the restaurant. It was a fun experience and worth a try if you're in SA, but probably wouldn't be a regular stop for us.
Enjoyed the place just not pleased with the salad bar. I wished there were more to the salad bar. Our wait staff were very professional!!!
It was our first visit, and it was great. The same 5-6 cuts of meat kept coming by, and I actually had to request for two cuts to be delivered. They were? Once. Also, we never saw the sausage until we were leaving - an hour after. But I know now to request what I want but don't see. We will go again better prepared!
Have been here a few times and it gets better each time.

Chama is truly heaven earth carnivores. The variety of meats and service are truly the best in San Antonio. If you like salad they have a great salad bar as well. The staff is so great that our drinks never emptied and we never had an empty plate. This is a must visit if been thinking about going.
We visited Chama Chama for my son's 19th birthday. We have tried a couple other Brazilian steakhouses in San Antonio but Chama Gaucha was in a league of it's own. The food was top-notch. John was our waiter and it was the best service we ever experienced.
We went to Chama Gaucho's to celebrate our wedding anniversary. This isn't the first time that we ate at this restaurant, we have dined here numerous times to experience the best cuisine and service in San Antonio, TX. Our anniversary experience was terrific, we will be back again soon.
