O...M....G! Delish and best service EVER!
This was our first time at a Brazilian Steakhouse. We were 100% blown away. The ambiance was upscale but still casual. As the host brought us to our table there was a waiter waiting to hold my seat out for me. He then proceeded to tell us how this Brazilian Steakhouse worked. Each diner has a card on the table. One side is red and the other green. When you are ready for their unlimited meat service you flip your card over to green. Then waiters with large skewers of different types of meat come over and slice you a portion. At any time you can flip your card back over to red if you need a break, or just want to work on what you already have. There was BBQ’ed pork ribs, filet mignon, leg of lamb, lamb chops, chicken legs, sausage links, and just about every other cut of steak. Every single one of the meats I tasted was amazing. The “garlic steak” was my favorite and just melted in my mouth. Then there is the unlimited salad bar with tons of super fresh salads and veggies. By far the most impressive salad bar I have ever seen. In addition to that the waiter brought over a plate of mashed potatoes (yummy), fried banana, fried polenta, and the most wonderful pockets of pillowy goodness, garlic cheese bread. The service was absolutely amazing. Every time you flip your card back over to green there is a waiter to swoop in with a tasty meat skewer. Your plate is never empty, unless of course you flip your card back over to red. At one point my husband’s napkin slipped to the floor and literally within 5 seconds there was a waiter to swoop in, retrieve it, and place a fresh napkin back on his lap. My husband looked at me and said “Did you just see that? It JUST fell off my lap”. Now THAT is great attention to detail. The price is $33 per person and IMO, very well worth it. Not only are you paying for the unlimited amounts of wonderfully cooked meats, but for the wonderful service. And that’s hard to put a price on. I can’t tell you how many times a wonderful meal has been ruined by bad service. This was out first time here, but it will not be our last. Definitely a new San Antonio favorite.
