Saw him during my pregnancy last yr. He was extremely rude, short & condescending. Made me feel I was doing something wrong by not getting extra genetic testing. Thought that was my choice. I was only a little over 35 and had no other risk factors. If I could rate a zero I would. I left that appt crying. I made sure I never scheduled another appt with him. He was on call the day I delivered - I got lucky he was going off his shift & didn't deliver my son. Would not recommend to my worst enemy.
This woman was the worst healthcare provider I have ever had the misfortune to see. She was condescending and dismissive of my concerns. She told me that, despite several positive pregnancy tests, I was not and never had been pregnant. I insisted on a blood test and it turns out, I was in the process of miscarrying. But she didn’t tell me that; one of the office staff did. She didn’t even bother to speak with me after it had been proven that she was wrong. I will never be back to this office.
This was literally the worst experience I have ever had in a doctors office. Horrible bedside manner. Seems to think she knows what you are going to say before you say it. She spoke over me and assumed I was only there for birth control script. Did not shut up the whole time about her kids and I did not get the chance to ask questions about my health.
She rushes through the patient history and doesn’t pay attention to your questions or concerns. She is very dismissive and rude. Rough exam. So glad that she can not deliver babies.
I saw Beth for my first pregnancy appointment. Now, most newly first time pregnant women would like a sympathetic, kind, knowledgeable healthcare provider. Beth was rude, made me feel like my questions were stupid, and literally said "now I know you think your pregnancy is special, and I'm sure it is, but women have babies everyday", in the most sarcastic tone. In her field, she should be willing to deal with anxious patients, and she most certainly was not.
Beth Carney was very rude and did not listen to any of my concerns or answer my questions with the necessary information I was asking for. I went in for my first ever appointment to the OBGYN, and she was not gentle and did not explain anything she was doing, and she tried to prove a point to me by being rough with my exam. I asked her for a birth control consultation and she did not give me any information on different options, and she did not provide FDA drug fact sheets for any of them.
I find Beth's bedside manner to be rude and unhelpful. She rushes through appointments and asks if you have any questions, but then snaps back answers. For a women's health expert she seems completely uninterested in women's hormonal changes as they move into menopause, which seems counter-intuitive in her profession. She was completely useless in helping me through a medical concern, and then questioned the validity of the cure which came with no help from her. I would not recommend her.
I went in for a follow up after a surgery. While I waited for him, I heard him outside the door ask how many more patients he had to see and groan about it. When he came in, he seemed very short with me and when he proceeded to give me my diagnosis, he gave it to me in medical terms. When I started to ask questions, he cut me off and said "hold on, I'll get a print out of what you have". His snide remark to a coworker was about me getting upset and how he wanted to hurry up and get me this info.
Left me high and dry at my lowest medical point. I had a legitimate surgical problem and I found him very rude, did not answer my questions, and was hedgy with my plan of care. Never seen anything like it. Obviously found a new doctor. He needs to retire. Office is ignorant and I was never called back with my results (normal or abnormal).
