Whether acquiring a puppy or a rescue dog, owners take great strides to provide the best care possible for their new family member. Looking for a doggie daycare for a dog with special medical needs? City Bark in Parker is the place to go. They took the time to understand my pet's needs and they take special care to be sure she is safe while she plays with her doggie buddies. Great people! (jen h)

We have a cat and as far as I know this location and the 8th Ave location take cats. We visited both, but preferred the Parker location: When I visited the Parker location, they told me the cat was not going to be left running around while cleaning out the cage. I was told that is to prevent the spreading of diseases. I like that. Several of the employees in Parker were cat people and I was told that they may get one or two cats a month. This was good news. My dog was severely injured while at City Bark Parker this past summer. Her injury required multiple emergency rooms visits and medications. She was so hurt that my husband had to carry her to the car when she was picked up from City Bark Parker. City Bark did try and call us the night we flew back (at 6 pm - we picked her up at 7 am the next day) but they didn't leave a message or answer when we tried to return the call. We dropped our GSD off for an afternoon of play. Got into the movie theatre and after we were situated, I checked to find her on their webcam. NOPE...couldn't see her in the room where the dogs were playing, the room she is always in. For the next 90 minutes I checked --- and then there were no dogs anywhere. I thought maybe they were in kennels for a short break? Finally, I called at around 5:00pm to find all the dogs had left and she was alone. If I could give this place no stars I would. My dog was bitten and attacked while at daycare. They didn't tell me when my dog was picked up. I had to discover his injury on my own. My dog was hurt so extensively that he needed emergency medical attention. I contacted this awful business and they said they would pay the vet bill, this was 2 months ago. I have yet to see any re-payment of the medical bills incurred. I've been told several times "the check in the mail." I have never received a check in the mail. Now I'm out the... read more

No clue why we kept going back. We took our dog there about half a dozen times. Only half (maybe) went to plan. If we brought something it was a 50/50 chance you would get it back. We brought a full bag of food and we left for 4 days it was almost gone. They lost a $50 training collar. The worst was we got our pet back matted in blood with three holes in her. The wounds were a couple days old. You would have noticed if you petted her at all. She had to be taken to vet for pain meds and antibiotics. I called and notified them... read more

So I received a call from them randomly but was unable to answer. The voicemail is really lovely though. It's muffled and then you hear the employee in the background say "this guy's a problem." Then the next employee says "Hello... oh s**t this is voicemail." Then the message ends. Obviously a professional business here.

***Further Updating*** I still have not been reimbursed for the emergency vet visit necessitated by this facility's neglect. I question whether they ever intended to reimburse the cost at all!
