I have been overcharged twice now in the past two months. They ask you to make a reservation online where you fill out the specifics. However, when you arrive at dropoff, they make you fill out a form that does not include the same options. I ended up being charged for things that I had not wanted in my online reservation. The young woman stated they were switching over to a new system but did not offer to refund my money. In January (2022), we had a last minute emergency and I had to board my 1 year old and 6 year old Goldens. They are happy, well behaved dogs. They lived and didn't get sick so I guess that's the basics. The staff were rude and wouldn't let me look at the care facilities because of "covid" although the five of them were hanging out unmasked behind the counter and in the kennels were DOGS. They showed me a picture on their phone. I was told the staff go home at 5:00 or 6:00 pm so the dogs have to remain in their indoor kennels... read more

I had high hopes for City Bark. But, once again, let down by another pet boarding. Dropped off my dog, for a one night trial run. When I picked her up at 10am, and looked into my bag, her dry food, snack & breakfast had never been given. One front desk employee ran off, leaving another young girl to try & figure out what was posted in the computer. We boarded our dog here for 2 weeks while we were out of town. He was picked up on the weekends by a family member and he smelt like pee 3 different days and one day was actually soaked in it, and he pooped immediately when he walked out of the building. He can hold it for 12 hours if he needs so he must not have been taken out at all for him to do this. If you love your dog, do not ever board them here. Our puppy came home with two aggressive parasites/infections, roundworm and giardia. Find somewhere else. In response to customer service, the reservation was under my wife's name. Also, we have tried to call multiple times with no answer.

Let me start by saying, I have no idea how City Bark Parker is in business, other than the fact it was once an outstanding business and the fact they provide little detail on their website regarding the services they're providing. Other reviews mention a change in ownership has brought the place down, although I cannot confirm the ownership detail. We started using City Bark Parker about 5 years ago and our dogs loved to go. Their boarding services are okay. Plenty of workers out around the dogs. But their grooming services....STAY AWAY. The lady literally cut the tip of my dogs tail off....LIKE AN ENTIRE INCH OF TAIL. No joke...it's been bleeding off and on for 5 days and his tail is noticeably shorter. Worst part is she blamed it on us because we requested his tail be less feathery and more evenly trimmed (he's a golden doodle). AND...She still charged us for the grooming services!!! I have to share this because I am so beyond disappointed with the new General Manager at City Bark in Parker, CO. I don't know what happened to Todd but since he has been gone - the place is not the same. I have a Newfoundland named Duke and he has been going to City Bark since he was a puppy. Anyone that has a big dog know it comes with big expenses. If Duke gets hurt - it costs a lot of money. While Todd and his staff were there - they were amazing with Duke. I have taken my one-year-old boxer here a few times, he comes back tired and that is usually the goal because he has so much energy all the time. I bring him to daycare so that he doesn't have to be alone all day, I pay for him to have fun and know he is safe... until he comes home with a missing patch of hair, the top of his head is bleeding, and side of his face is scratched up and bleeding.
