I was working with a lender to get a HELOC and this process was taking a very long time. I submitted lots of documentation. I even told them that my condo had a land lease, which can sometimes be an issue with lenders. The lender who is a very reputable lender in the area said that that would be no problem. And after about 6 to 8 weeks, I was closing and I was going to get funded in a few days. From start to finish, Matt was absolutely amazing. He had done a couple of pre-approvals for me for houses that I ultimately didn’t purchase, and we recently completed the entire mortgage approval process for a condo that I did purchase. Nik went above and beyond to make what could have been a very stressful process feel manageable. Honestly by the end of it he didn’t even feel like our broker anymore, he felt like family. We know we probably drove him a little crazy with all of our questions, but he never once made us feel like we were being annoying. We are so grateful for everything he did for us and would recommend him to anyone looking to buy a home, especially first time buyers.
