This place was so awful it is giving me nightmares now after being gone. They locked me in a room for 5 days as a mental health patient (suicidal ideation) with actual insane grown men who would pace behind me with their hands down their pants while they STARE and banging their heads on things and rapping and talking to themselves. One of them said they were going to hit me after I told him to leave me alone because he was looking me up and down and licking his lips like he was HUNGRY…and nothing was done about it. My daughter was in there and they misplaced her dentures and refused to take any type of reimbursement or admit they lost them . The replacement out of our pocket was over $2000.They could care less and never returned a call.
Went there in September of 2023 and as I was leaving they told me they couldn't find my suitcase that I had brought in with me (contained all of my clothes, medical paperwork from previous hospitals, my tablet, and other various items). It's been 5 months now and they have stopped answering phone calls. Covington Behavioral is the worst hospital I've ever seen and deserves nothing short of being forcibly closed.
