Country Fried Steak was extremely Dry. Would not order again. The dumplings were the only saving Grace (and two Adults had to share one order bc of a door dash mess up)
They ran out of their southern fried chicken by 1pm on a Saturday last weekend ! Who planned or didn't for the weekend!! . Bad management. Also, we were substituted with Tenders but didn't receive any money back since tenders meal is less than the southern fried chicken. Corporate Cracker Barrel needs to fire and clean house at this location. Not the first blunder we've encountered in the last year. Sad because the food is delicious.
Chicken fried steak was less than desirable. Meat tasted weird and not like hamburger meat. I also ordered brown gravy on my mashed potatoes and got white. Insulting for this southern girl. Honestly for the price and quality and the fact most of your menu can be made cheaper at home, this place isn't worth it anymore. It's a hit or miss when we order take out.
Portions are lacking from what is usually sent. This is about 30% less food than normal.
Homestyle chicken and meal was very good, but the roast beef barely had a slice and the majority of that was very fatty.
