Reminding myself Cracker Barrel is NOT a steakhouse. New York Strip steak was tough and overcooked. My preference is 'Rare' but that is not an option at CB, so I chose 'Medium Rare', but I believe my steak was 'Medium Well'. Okra was not well -seasoned, hard, overcooked. Mashed potatoes were dry. Will never order any of these menu items from Cracker Barrel again.
grits was great. sausage and biscuit/ gravy didn't taste as good.
Grilled cheese was hard, dumplings tasted old and didnt receive my vegetable soup.
Forgot my drink and gave me busted sauces
The food had an after taste not sure what it was even the steak tips threw over half of the meal away first time experiencing this with this restaurant
The steak was over cooked
This is the second time I have ordered delivery from this store and it was almost inedible. The chicken tenders and the steak fries were way overcooked. The chicken was tough and dry. The potatoes were cold and doughy. The biscuits were also cold and very dry and tasted salty. The dipping sauce was omitted from the order. The tea tasted good but the ice was completely melted. This may have to be my last order from this store. Far too expensive to not be able to eat it.
I haven't ordered from Cracker Barrel in a while because they are inconsistent with food preparation. Today, my food was cold, the meatloaf was dry and not good , and the red Pinto Beans were dry. The biscuits were a little burnt. Overall my meal was not good 😐.
My sausage wasnt done on the inside. Quality of food wasn't good this time at all.
