This establishment has not made it easy to look favorably on them. The past two times I've gotten scrambled eggs, there's been an egg shell in them, which is NOT fun. The only redeeming quality I've found are the grits, pancakes, and eggs in a basket, which are the only reasons that this review is a two star and not a one star.
I live only 5 miles from the restaurant. So I was really surprised when I received my order only to food that was not fresh, cold, and all clumped together. The salad was not very fresh and the dressing was wrong. The sweet tea was good however. Very disappointed.
Mac n Cheese had double the amount of salt it should have.
Fried Chicken was overdone, and dry
Mashed potatoes were good but everything else tasted old.
never cook the eggs the way I want it and always missing stuff didn't get my sausage
Food was overall good but my sides were wrong on roast beef order.Biscuit and muffin hard.
Portion sizes extremely small and roast very stringy and undercooked.
the chicken was very dry and almost inedible. i love cracker barrel but this was a miss for me.
