I haven’t been here in awhile so I was extremely pleased that the quality of customer service was not compromised since last time. I used to work here so I know how tough the work can be and how challenging some of the regulars are. Jan our waiter was wonderful! Not sure whether he made the mistake or the kitchen, but our eight person table had one order missing. When the missing order arrived the over easy eggs didn’t look the best and was missing the biscuit and gravy. Gravy was brought out and said the biscuits were in the oven. I asked for the manager and Oliver quickly came out. I explained that the food was fine (didn’t mention the eggs) and that Kam has been a great server/waiter. Best fried catfish I've had in a LONG time!! Macaroni and fried apples were awesome also! Every thing was hot and fresh. Server was wonderful.
My wife and I didn’t have time for a meal but wanted to pick up a gift for our niece and nephew on the way for a visit. We walk in and were approached by two different associates while we shopped. One explained where all of the sales items were located and offered to help in any way. The other complimented my wife’s outfit and said they had similar items for sale if she was interested. Overall it was a great shopping experience. Great job Cracker Barrel.
My group consisted of two, but the tables were so close that it felt like a family-style situation. They could have seated us one row back, and it would have been more comfortable. The food was ok, but the medium-well eggs were undercooked. The pancakes were not as good as I remembered. The wait staff was very attentive but not bothersome. The food came out fast.
