Hmm our server was not very engaged, and long delays occurred. One of us had haddock which was clearly "off"- ammonia tasting. The response was to take IT- only it- away leaving the sides to be eaten. Catfish was provided as a replacement, after about 15 min. This is reasonable as it takes that long to cook, but surely we warranted...
Just another Crackerbarrel Wait outside on the porch. Don't be in a hurry. Tasty food, but not like mom used to make. Crouded, loud. Merchandising while you wait. Too many other great places on Lafayette to eat genuine Louisiana Cajun cusine. It is easy to find and close to I - 10.
Good comfort food I have been to Cracker Barrell on several occasions. The food is consistently good and fairly priced. The wait staff can he hit of miss as can the wait getting a seat depening on when you arrive.
