I've been looking for a cute little gift for my friend's upcoming birthday and here at Cracker Barrel is where I found it! I purchased a pair of earrings at half price and for what I paid, I should have gotten her 3 or 4 different pair! Sundays around lunchtime seem to be busier than Saturday. After checking in with the hostess, it was only about a 15 minute wait before we were seated. It was the 20-25 minute wait for our food after the order was placed that got me! A great spot for brunch or lunch with family, colleagues, or friends. I absolutely loved the Fried Pork! The atmosphere is pleasant, though the service could be better. Definitely a must-stop if you're traveling from Houston to Pearland.
I am deeply disappointed with my recent visit to Cracker Barrel. Initially, I was told there would be an hour wait, which I accepted and waited patiently with my daughter. However, what happened next was unacceptable. I witnessed a white woman and her son arrive at the restaurant well after me. We had a good experience here, despite how low rating they got on Yelp and Google (we didnt read any review before going there). The decoration and atmosphere were very Christmas-ready, not too crowded around 7ish pm weekday, right before Thanksgiving. The menu is short and sweet, I tried turkey and liked it. Our waiter James was great. James made sure to card our young adult for her Alcoholic Birthday Beverage I ordered sweet tea and he realized the Kitchen gave me unsweetened tea and fixed the situation immediately. Had one member of our party keep getting up to leave the table and he patiently waited. We didn't feel rushed to eat. My bacon came out wonderfully crisp. All around a great experience
