Looks like only half the Grandpa's Country Fried Breakfast was served. When you eat there they give you nice portions and a big plate. They definitely didn't put the same effort for their to go customers.
The restaurant had my dasher waiting over an hour for our order, which was only ready almost 20 minutes after they closed.
The dumplings are not the same. They have changed them. And the greens were not good at all. The catfish was the only thing good.
Zero gravy on the Hamburger Steak. The Hamburger Steak was very dry and overcooked. The "seasoned rice" was very bland and flavorless. Roast was overcooked and black. Three tiny pieces of carrots. Very small portions.
The medium steak was nearly raw. Fried pickles were partially cooked and oozing oil. The hush puppies had raw centers. There were no dips for anything. I'm very disappointed with this Cracker Barrel location's quality.
I didn't get one side of dumplings or fried apples. I called the store but because I ordered from DoorDash he couldn't help. I ask him to deliver himself but the answer was no.
The chicken strips were not crispy. The meatloaf was mush.
Usually Cracker Barrel is great. However, not today. I ordered Biscuits & Gravy with Bacon or Sausage and they forgot the gravy.
The Chicken n' Dumplins was absolutely horrible! My mother orders this regularly. I always think things are salty but she never does. She said it tasted like it was made of salt. She put a small amount on a plate to eat and ended up throwing it all away and fix something else to eat. The meatloaf was good and up to it's normal standard but the green beans looked like they sat out uncovered for 2 days.
