Absolutely wonderful first experience dining in at Cracker Barrel. I had the Strawberry Cheesecake Stuffed Pancakes and they were phenomenal. Strawberries were fresh and good. Apple juice was cold and refreshing. Welcomed warmly and our waitress Autumn was great. And the store has all the nostalgia my soul needs. I loved it all the way!!
My boyfriend and I love Cracker Barrel! The Cracker Barrel in Mason, OH was a whole different experience though! From when we first walked in the door to when we left, our service was absolutely amazing! The food was really good and hot too! My boyfriend got the crispy chicken tenders and fries and I got the grilled lemon pepper rainbow trout with fried apples and sweet glazed carrots! Our waitress was very attentive too and filled up our drinks and asked us multiple times if the food was good! We will definitely be back!
The food and service were good. The reason I give one star is that I had received by email a 15% coupon to use if I spent $35 in the restaurant. They refused to give me the 15% discount because I didn’t get the southern fried chicken dinner. It says no where on the coupon that I had to get the chicken dinner. It says when I spend $35 in the restaurant and it would be a good time to try the chicken. I have to say I did leave upset. Don’t send coupons if the restaurant is not going to honor it.
We eat at Cracker Barrels pretty often. This was not a good visit. There were only three tables in our section with customers & at least two waitresses. We waited a really long time & finally asked to be waited on. The waitress waived us off but nodded that she’d get someone. She came back soon & said our waitress asked her to take our table. The past 2 visits have left alot to be desired. Tonight was completely different. From the moment we walked in the boy at the host stand was very friendly and polite. Jessica our server done an excellent job remembering things, suggesting food choices, being polite, friendly, and frequently checking on us.
