My boyfriend and I love Cracker Barrel! The Cracker Barrel in Mason, OH was a whole different experience though! From when we first walked in the door to when we left, our service was absolutely amazing! The food was really good and hot too! My boyfriend got the crispy chicken tenders and fries and I got the grilled lemon pepper rainbow trout with fried apples and sweet glazed carrots! Our waitress was very attentive too and filled up our drinks and asked us multiple times if the food was good! We will definitely be back!
I always have fantastic experience at Cracker Barrel! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with that classic country charm that makes you feel right at home. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive from the moment we walked in. Our meals were delicious — I highly recommend the chicken and dumplings, and the cornbread was just like grandma used to make. Plus, the country store at the front is always fun to browse while waiting for a table. Overall, a wonderful dining experience. I’ll definitely be back!
Plenty of parking and seating. Amazing food! We ordered the chicken and dumplings along with the Maple Bacon grilled chicken. We even took advantage of the take a meal home deal for $5. Would go back again.
Our food was good, but it is definitely time for the waitress we had to retire. I requested sugar free syrup for my pancakes. Instead of bringing the traditional CB bottle syrup, which is usually warmed, this waitress brought cold syrup poured in a condiment bowl. Other waitresses refilled my coffee, and she never asked my husband if he needed a refill on his drink. Not a CB that I recommend visiting.
The server Amy was wonderful! She regularly stopped by to see if I needed anything and was warm and friendly. My chicken and dumplings were disappointing. Barely any chicken (mostly dumplings) and the chicken I did have was gristly. The green beans had no flavor. First time I’ve experienced this disappointment.
