did not receive a side item again pancakes burnt
Paid for extra syrup and didn't get it. pancakes tasted floury and oil used to cook them tasted rancid. Food from here lately has not been as good as it used to.
the Chicken n' Dumplins had a whole boiled chicken breast un-cut and a spoonful of dumplings. not even enough dumpiling to eat with all that chicken. the hash brown casserole was udercooked, and raw potato is really not pleasant. Everthing in our order was cold . Even the biscuits were under baked I thought they were corn bread at first. It was a bad shift or rather a managers shift that does no Quality control or else none of that food would have left the kitchen.
Hash was NASTY! They forgot half the order.
The food was good. The issue was with how they manage incoming web orders. My order was supposed to be picked up at 11:18AM. My order was not ready until 12:15PM. I went through 2 dashers who were tired of waiting for over 20 minutes each. And i didn't order anything crazy. I ordered 2 eggs over easy and some side dishes. The Dasher had to wait over an hour for the food. Additionally, the Dasher was not informed about the delay. When the restaurant was contacted, it was stated that the order was not printed out because the machine malfunctioned. When the food arrived, it was hot but the pancakes were not what we've grown accustomed to from Cracker Barrel.
Where to start. First my two red potatoes were raw. Not close to being fully cooked. Corn on the cob tasted good but was cold as ice. I ordered corn bread and got biscuits. Steak was pretty good. Im at work and it took a very long time to get my order on top of all the other issues. Would not recommend ordering for lunch. Maybe in house would be better.
Everything was clearly left sitting out all night and not freshly made. Thought I would never order again. Tonight I placed a pickup order to give them a 2nd chance and 15 minutes after promised time I am still waiting!
Campfire Beef good flavor but horrible value.20 bucks for three bites of beef, 2 new potates, half a carrot and an ear of corn? why does nothing ever look like the picture on the menu? Sadly disappointed.
