A totally delicious dinner of sugar cured ham. But even better were the sides not usually available here. Baked apples, dumplings but especially the fresh fruit bowl.
Food quality was excellent
The biscuits and gravy hit the spot. I think it was the best ever biscuits I've had from CB.
Meatloaf is delish!!
Never gave us our biscuits and sent a very small ranch dressing.
Fresh Strawberry Pancake Plate Momma's Pancake Breakfast® Food quality and order accuracy were a total fail. One pancake order was supposed to come with strawberries; there were no strawberries. Ordered sugar free syrup, got regular syrup. Sausage patties were burned, dried out, one step from being jerky. Pancakes had a rancid flavor, like burnt grease, surely from the griddle not being cleaned properly. All in all, a totally disappointing experience. Yuck. And expensive too; not a good value. Do better, CB.
If I could give a meh, I would because it's usually pretty good. A lot of the bacon was burnt and the scrambled eggs were overcooked. The biscuits seemed unusually fresh and fluffy, though. Potatoes were also good.Old Timer's Breakfast
Slow-Braised Pot Roast was not cooked enough, stringy, similar to a steak without much flavor. Very disappointed in this visit. Cracker Barrel used to be great quality.
Big Easy Steak & Shrimp , steak had a lot of fat and grissle..could eat about half of it. I also couldn't order it rare, so it was a little tougher than I like it. They need to switch to divided take-out containers because my mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese and steak were basically combined as one item by the time I got it.
