Food could have been hotter and was pretty slow for a Friday breakfast but over all always a nice visit to a cracker barrel.
Cracker barrel is my favorite restaurant in my home town. The food is always good and tastes homemade. The atmosphere is nice and the servers are nice as well. The servers could be a bit friendlier though. Also, the menu changed so some of our favorites are gone and that sucks. Still a special place to me.
A great Cracker Barrel on the way from Columbus to Chicago. The store had a lot of interesting stuff like gifts and gadgets. The dining room was decorated fancy like an old hunter’s home. The fried meat tasted decent with great Mac and cheese and dumplings sides. The C&B also gave a free tots for the first time sign-up. But, the service could be more attentive and WiFi was not valid.
Service was great, and the food was fun. I will always visit CB.
Terrible experience. Would not recommend. Server seemed very friendly, but would go very long period of time without being seen. Luke warm food once it is was received. Was told she would be right back with coffee refill, biscuits (none received with meal), and hot sauce but never showed up. Had to go stand up by the fireplace for her to show up and ask for our bill. During our time there was a couple that left due to no server coming for a drink order for 15 minutes.
