The hamburger steak was very tough. I could not eat. . The carrots were almost like rubbery. Could not eat. Usually Cracker Barrel carrots are sooo good!
The Momma's French Toast Breakfast® was a trainwreck. My bacon and eggs came undercooked in some spots, burned in others. The strawberries I paid extra for came brown, squishy, and molded in a cup. Peach Tea is no longer offered. If this is the standard the store aims for, I will not be back.
The dumplings were very watery and salty, and had almost no chicken. It almost seemed like they were running out and they tried to stretch them out by adding water. There was no butter or any other condiments included this time, and the macaroni and cheese would’ve been good except for it had that watery chicken and dumpling gravy all over it. At least the country ham was good, which is a good thing since it’s $8 for one piece. I think Cracker Barrel needs to work on their quality, and they are about to price themselves out ... read more
This was not a good breakfast. The fried chicken tastes like it was cooked in old oil. Everything was over cooked it wasn’t editable. The gravy was burnt and the grits tasted like they were also cooked in a burnt pan.. $60 completely wasted as we could not eat the food. I do want to note- this was not a driver issue. This is a restaurant issue. The food came hot, it was just absolutely terrible.
Paid 12.89 for panckes you could not cut with knife. Paid 5.99 for a large tea revived a kid size. Do not order from here.
Every time we order from here it is never ready/delivered within its window. Today was over an hour and they were so slow that two drivers left the restaurant without delivering.
The food was good enough, but their prices have gotten ridiculous for what you get. I ordered a piece of country ham, it was $8. No biscuits mind you, just a piece of country ham. It was half the size of what I got at the Greensboro Cracker Barrel in the restaurant about three weeks ago. It is not a good idea to price gouge on home deliveries, because that has become a big part of restaurants businesses and they’re gonna screw around and lose it.
The hash brown cas was burnt and everything was cold when it got here. Kept being called Because they were out of the sides we had ordered. Not at all happy with this order.
The Skillet Sirloin Steak Sampler* was not good. The steak was very tough, and like chewing on leather. Would not recommend.
