Watery Soupy Chicken n' Dumplins. Not Cracker Barrel Dumplings. No taste as if water poured on them for sauce. Gotta do better at this location.
What are mess? Why would you not put the soupy item in a container by itself instead of letting juice everywhere else??? If I wanted dumpling juice in my greens or mac and cheese, I would mix it myself. Biscuits hard as cral. No wonder this restaurant has declined.
I ordered to whole pies and got 2 slices of pie for $42. Had to drive all the way there to resolve issue. Manager offered to have employee drive it to my house but found that kind of strange. They always mess up orders even when sitting down to eat.
Never again. Order is wrong every single time. Sent brown gravy instead of sawmill for the Chicken Fried Chicken. I also ordered Peach Cobbler and I kid you not.. it was literally 4-5 peach slices in a cup, no crust whatsoever.
This location cannot get out of its own way when it comes to food quality and order accuracy. The Greensboro location and the Lexington location are so much better, but they don’t deliver to my location For starters, I ordered a piece of country ham and a sampler platter with chicken and dumplings and meatloaf for two people to share. There were no dumplings only sauce/gravy Bottom of biscuits were burnt
Food lacked seasoning overall wasn’t good . The chicken itself was okay but everything else wasn’t good
The chicken and dumplings and macaroni and cheese were good; the green beans were disgusting. They tasted like ash, and they were cooked into a mush. The juice from the green beans spilled over into my macaroni and cheese and ruined part of it. They really need to try harder. They are supposed to be a noted home cooking restaurant, but I can tell you nobody in any home has ever made green beans like that.
food was cold, and the roast portion was only half of what you get in the restaurant.
