Poor toppings, I thought they would come into individual containers
I got Campfire Shrimp Skillet, there were 5 shrimp and 4 round slices of sausage. The potatoes are not thoroughly cooked. I am very disappointed. Not worth the 13 dollars I paid for it. If I wanted a child's plate I would have ordered off the children's menu.
The carrots in the Campfire Beef were too tomatoey, only two potatoes and not much meat for the price. Edible but wont get it again, bummer, had high hopes. Also the corn bread needed another 10 minutes in the oven, extremely under cooked.
Buttermilk Biscuits were so hard we couldn't eat them.
The sides were great - green beans and rice. I wasn't crazy about the pot roast. Too many onions, not enough carrots and no potatoes. I've never had pot roast w/o potatoes before. The potatoes give the dish a particuar flavor that I missed. Adding mashed potatoes along side the pot roast just is not the same. The beef was cut into large bite-sized pieces and then cooked - instead of cooking the entire roast then portioning it. The latter being more tender and tasty.
The biscuits were way overcooked could barely cut through them
Both bowls of beans are grey not edible and no ham or bacon in them. The cornbread is still gooey in the middle.
Casserole was nasty, they give one syrup for 3 pancakes. Caseserole oil all over the bag.
