I stopped going to this vet's office. I don't have anything against the vet there. The reason I no longer go there is because on 2 different occasions I called ahead to see if I could take my dog Fred in that day and told them exactly what I wanted done. I asked them how much it would cost. They gave me the price , which I reverified while I was on the phone. Maybe I just went on a bad day? The front desk staff was rude and unorganized. The tech was friendly but she was the only friendly one. My dog was terrified which is not normal for him. The doctor acted like he couldn’t care less about my dog, spent about two minutes in the room with us. Acted like I was an idiot when I asked a question. He used no diagnostic tools- an Xray should have been taken at the very least based on the symptoms presented. Was given two different meds/treatments. Highly disappointed in the prescription policy. I’ve never in my life used another vet for my dogs but I will be following with Dr. Hart from here on out. My boy suffers from anxiety and seizures, a medication he’s recently had to start is pricy through their pharmacy. So doing my research I found a local pharmacy that I could purchase it through for a quarter of the price DCAC charges. Our beautiful dog was hit by a truck and they refused to see her and she didn’t make I begged them to see her crying with my dog yelping in pain but they absolutely refused. It was in the afternoon and the vet was still there but they wouldn’t see her We had to go all the way to Tampa but it wasn’t in time😭. Even though she had been there since she was a puppy and been boarded there 3 different times with this vet. I’ll never go back there ever again and will absolutely not recommend them to anyone!😭😡.
I’ve been going here for several years. Brought my dog on Saturday due to a lump she has. The vet was condescending, cold and not much help. He advised me the 2”x1” lump was cancerous and too big to remove, no other discussion on the lump and went forward trying to slam me on eye care....seriously....eye care?
Dr Chet is great dr heart is awesome too , but the office manager there is horrible! I took my 4 pound yorki there this morning with a possible broken hip and or leg, sat there for 2 hours in the waiting room and when I asked how long it would be she told me to take my seAt I was being rude!!! That my dog wasn’t screaming in pain or throwing up so I needed to take a seat !! RecommendedFind a better vet I can't, I drive the 75 miles since moving away.
This place shouldn’t even be open the worst vet there possibly could be ...I don’t even won’t to give a star...the vet need his license revoked immediately
***VERY DISAPPOINTED*** first time since I've been going to this clinic since 2003 have I been so poorly treated and services done that I didn't ask for and charged for might have to start looking for a new vet
