As always i go for customers service first and they were really helpful as my first time going in Also when they gave the order no faces or nothing made me feel special at some point The food specially the chicken was DELICIOUS!!! Tried this place on a whim and I'm glad that we did. The walls are decorated with their mascot as a firefighter and as a surfer which matches the vibes of the area. You order your food at the front and then grab it when it's ready. As first timers, we got the medium and reaper to get a good feel of their spice blend. At the insistence of a friend, I finally gave a hot chicken sandwich (referred to as a "slider" at Dave's) a try. I was skeptical: What's the big deal about hot chicken, coleslaw, pickles, and Hawaiian bread? Boy, was I wrong! This simple combination is the Platonic ideal of sweet, spicy, savory, and tangy. The food is spectacular . I always order the two sliders with a side of fries . Why mess with perfection ? The bun is soft the chicken is thick and crispy , the kale slaw they throw in the sandwich gives it some crunch too . Their Fries golden and crinkled are just perfect . I walked in and ordered my food and while I was waiting for my food, I was observing the general structure and how this business was run. I'm a huge fan of Dave's. Every once in a while I have an intense craving for hot chicken and Dave's is my go to. Their sauce is some of the best and the chicken is nice and hot. I've had the reaper a few times and it creeps up on you. They make you sign a waiver to order it. I wouldn't say it's quite waived level, but it's a slow burn. The hot is excellent and the slaw adds to the sandwiches well. Price is always reasonable and it's in the middle of the main road in PB. Also usually open pretty late which helps a ton!

I'm giving this place a solid review. First off, it's better than what it is. This is the grown version of Chick-fil-a, minus the waffle fries. Don't sleep though cause even their fries are bomb! The service here doesn't need to be down your throat expressive and generous cause the food speaks for its, and the workers do their job well! I would eat here more often if it wasn't so far from my daily commutes.
