TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

I’m obsessed with Dave’s hot chicken it’s SO good. But I really wish, of the 7 people I saw working, there were more than one person managing the pickup window. I have a feeling my food was ready when I arrived but I couldn’t even ask someone if it was ready for 20 minutes waiting outside in very close proximity to 15 others waiting for their pickup order - not ideal during a pandemic. Chicken was soft and delicious like no other place
Nicest delivery guy on planet earth! Wish I had gotten his name. Brought extra Dave's sauce cause you ALWAYS run out. This is some of the best chicken in LA. So nice to have it delivered, even if its more expensive than picking it up. Big fan, both literally and figuratively.

They need to label the boxes so we know which is hot and which is not.
The food was so good I'm almost not mad my order was completely wrong. I just feel bad for the person who unwittingly got the hottest sandwich they offer.
