TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Service was exceptional. Elijah welcomed me in and was one of the coolest workers I met at Dave's. Def best Dave's in the valley.
AMAZING!! the atmosphere and quality of food is unbeatable. it's a regular in my house hold and we're always happy with our experience at dave's hot chicken. the employee are the best which really makes the experience that much more enjoyable. i highly recommend this place if you're visiting; i always bring my friends and family here when they are from out of town and they love it as well!
BOMB. Best hot chicken spot I've ever ate at. I eat here at least 2 times a week for the past 4 years. Mouth watering all the time never disappoints! 10/10 recommended If you haven't tried it, you're missing out big time.
My favorite hot chicken spot I would recommend everyone to at least give this spot a try. Chicken is cooked perfectly and the sauce is amazing. When you put some honey on it becomes perfection!

It was really good! Their advertisements were what hooked me in. They engraved themselves in the back of my mind and then pounced once I realized I was hungry... I got the tenders and the sandwiches along with the Mac and cheese - no slaw. The tenders were, for lack of a better word, tender. They were juicy too! Same thing for the sandwiches which I added cheese on. I liked how the buns weren't two separate ones. They were one folded roll. Consistently good service, fries, and crispy hot chicken! Mariah and Sarkas provided excellent service when i was last there!
With the proliferation of fast food fried chicken places, I've been on a mission to find the best fried chicken sandwich around. Dave's - isn't it. There's a lot going for their product: the chicken is hot, juicy and crunchy. The buns are fine, and the sauce, slaw and pickles are good, though not great. I'd have loved both more sweetness balanced by vinegar-acidity to the sauce and pickles, as well as some mayo-creaminess to smooth out the astringency of the spice mix.
