Updated review: they no longer offer the 50% military discount which is very upsetting. Now they only offer a free drink or 10% I forget. We really went out of our way because of the discount, but we don't see ourselves driving out there when we can just go to Cane's.
Daniel & Natalie have been amazing helpful crew they had OUTSTANDING customer service and went above and beyond to make sure I got my food and everything be correct. Will be coming back !
Just wanted to say we love the food here. Today Daniel took our order and was very helpful and efficient. There was a long line but the wait wasn't too bad. Hot is hot enough for me, and i lile hot stuff, I'm too scared to try anything hotter.

Perfect service. Everyone was so nice. Dan and Daniel were epic people! First class. Busting their butts. Definitely Two great employees that work hard every minute they are on the clock. Food was amazing. Service is even better. Will be visiting soon.
I thought it was just Ok .... I was expecting better quality chicken. the mac and cheese was pretty good
Dave's Hot Chicken in El Cajon is located in a tight little cluster of other fast food emporia tucked away in an oddly-angled portion of the outer parking lot of a Home Depot and a nearby hotel---I think it might be a Hampton Inn. Be aware that the parking lot is tricky to navigate, with sharp corners, coupled with the vigilance needed to avoid the constant stream of the snaking of vehicles in line for the adjacent In and Out Burger.
