A great chicken spot to hit up with friends! I say with friends, because, first off, the serving sizes here are huge! When you first glance at the menu, there looks to only be 3 meal options. Dave's #1 comes with two tenders, Dave's #2 comes with two chicken sliders, and Dave's #3 comes with a tender and a slider. Got the wrong order or spice level today, so I wasn't happy to drive all the way back to return something, but the manager was very accommodating and reminded me of my favorite comedian Burt Kreischer. So how could I be mad. He fixed the order to my satisfaction and the counter help was cordial. So I'm glad because I really do enjoy their chicken. Thank you Dave's. And manager dude.

First time trying this place after driving by and seeing it was new. I was super excited to try it and ordered two chicken sandwiches and cheese fries for delivery. The chicken was the bomb. The spice level is impressive. The seasoned fries were good, but they were missing cheese. So that kind of sucked. I was charged for the cheese fries, but no luck there. Hearing about this place, I had very high expectations in terms of what I was going to taste and eat. Their food was just ok. The best thing they had was their chicken (of course) but even that fell a bit short. The chicken wasn't crispy but was flavored well.

One of the best HOT chicken sandwiches I've had in Chicago! I recommend getting the Dave's sauce for the fries, the fries are OK...nothing special, but the Dave's sauce really helps. I was really disappointed with the Mac n Cheese however...(tasted like plastic with fake cheese) ‍ not much flavor...pretty bland?? Expected more I guess because the hot chicken itself was so spicy and juicy, I was a lil thrown off that everything else wasn't as good as the chicken itself. First of all YES THEY ARE ZABIHA HALAL! It was my first time going there after hearing all the hype. And the customer service was amazing. The cashier gave us his recommendation on spice level and how big the portions are, which I really appreciated. Then when I saw the sandwich, it was love at first site. I took my first bite and there was no going back. I was hooked. All in all, if you read this far I definitely recommend going there period.

I've been craving hot chicken and so I decided to try Dave's Hot Chicken. I ordered the chicken tenders with a side of cheese fries for delivery. I got the chicken tenders in hot and extremely hot. Both were delicious. The spice level was decent but the flavor of the rub was tasty. I probably could go higher on heat because both were just spicy for me. I also really liked the Dave's Sauce on the side. It has a nice tang to it and reminds me of Chick-fil-a sauce. Overall I definitely think I would order from here again.

They have free access parking in front of their place. They have a glass wall so you can see a nice view outside. When I enter I can see their unique painted wall. I put my bag on one of the tables and went to the order station. I ordered a burger, fries, coleslaw, chicken wings and macaroni salad. After I paid it I went to my table and waited for my order while I was scrolling to my newsfeed. After a minute it came and it looked delicious.. Dave's Hot Chicken is delicious and has such a fun aesthetic to it. What adds the the whole experience is the friendly team & manager, Guy. Guy was very helpful, friendly, and over extended himself to make sure his guests were well fed and enjoying their meal. The meal was filling and well worth the drive to come and try. Definitely pay this restaurant a visit.
