TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

I stumbled across this Hot Chicken Place in Chicago while running some errands and let me tell you...IT WAS OUT OF THIS WORLD. We ordered a couple menu items and we devoured everything. The food was cooked to order, crunchy, spicy but not too spicy, flavorful and fresh. The stack of pickles was so refreshing and I can't recommend this place enough. Wanted to give this place a try. Had the slider and tender combo. Extra hot. It was good. Not overly spicy so if you like heat this won't be a shock to your system. Think I'll try the reaper seasoning next time. The chicken was cooked nicely. Juicy but cooked throughout. They have more things on the menu that I'd like to try, but can't eat it all in one sitting. Would go back.

The chicken is amazing and the service is incredible every time. I used to order from Dave's on doordash a lot, and have now gone in person several times. The decor and music creates a fun and lighthearted atmosphere that is only amplified by the exceptionally kind and attentive staff. I am always served promptly and with a smile. It seems like the employees genuinely enjoy working here and I hope that is the case. My go to order is the medium heat tenders and fries. Their milkshakes are great as well.
Always wanted to try Dave's Hot Chicken and finally was able to when I moved to Chicago! Ordered from this location on Grubhub and it did not disappoint! I got the hot honey chicken sandwich and it was incredible, some of the best chicken I've had from a chain restaurant. Would definitely recommend to anyone who's looking to Dave's!
One of my favorite hot chicken spots in Chicago. The heat was up there which I absolutely admire and it did not lack in the flavor department at all because of it. The texture of the chicken the seasoning the breading all of it was phenomenal. The staff was also exceptional They were very helpful. generally the place was fun to go out with friends. Will definitely come back
Dave's HOT Chicken is ALWAYS a hit and the dry rub with make your mouth water. The 2 sliders and fries meal is my go too. If you want to sweat a little, go with the HOT. If not the medium offers the perfect amount of heat and flavor. Service and atmosphere is on point for a chicken sandwich.
It took 9 months for me to finally get back to this awesome establishment. Again, it was the best chicken that I ever had!!!! Same great staff, still super clean! I shouldn't have waited so long to come back.
